You'll take my word for it, right?  It's raining,  here and reportedly  over the whole country, which is good as some places desperately need it. It's not going to be enough though. The met service says the Waikato's going to get about 20mm of rain - they need 100. 
On a more personal level, our first performance is tomorrow, weather permitting. If this continues, it will probably be cancelled, which I have mixed feelings about. I could use another week's practice.

Very nice black and white photograph. I'll admit I was quite surprised when I saw it, expecting color.

I thought that the monochrome tag might be a giveaway, but yes surprise was my intent. That, and the photo just worked way better in black and white.
