Pauanui beach from about half way up Paku Hill. I did get all the way up on New Year's day. I did make it the whole way up, and yes there are pictures - but they need a little more post processing than I've had time for.
Actually, I admit it - the horizons need straightening.

That... is so beautiful as to be almost painful to look at. [since it's cold, grey, wet and just plain bloody awful here].

I think it's an optical illusion. It's because of the branch swooping up. I love how the composition makes my eye spiral towards the blue green bay.
