Paku - the holiday snapshot.

Paku, somewhere between a hill and a mountain, is an extinct andesitic volcano.  It dominates the entrance to Tairua harbour. I intend to climb it sometime in the next few days and get a panorama, but I have caught a cold off my bro and am feeling totally unenthusiastic about exercise.

On the other hand, I am catching up on my lying round and reading of worthy and less worthy books. I can report that  Lloyd Jones'  Mister Pip is everything it's cracked up to be.
