Yeah, the first I heard about it was in amphigori's journal. I didn't feel anything here in Auckland. My flatmate says everything is OK at my place. I don't know if she checked my room, and now she's gone on holiday too. I'm a bit worried that stuff may have fallen off shelves but I think that's mostly paranoia on my part - and it's only stuff when you get right down to it.
