Summer in Wellington, not so's you'd notice judging from the weather, but the city council has it's usual programme of outdoor events in the botanic gardens. I went to one last night - a ethereal singer/songwriter in the hipster mode, who I think was trying for "quirky" but managed to come off as youthfully self absorbed instead. So lets gloss over that and have a look at the light show in the botanic gardens instead....
