Yeah, I dunno that this much technical limitation is doing it for me. Even with the tiniest pinhole I can possibly make there's a lot of blur (actually I should do the maths and work out whether that's diffraction or not). Also, every speck of dust on the sensor is making it's presence felt. Those would be the black spots in the sky, and I could edit them out, but not for this purpose.

Is primarily fun; I'm not sure I'd commit a great deal to it, and still, it is fun.

Dust on the sensor may be fairly easily dealt with, using a bulb-blower to deliver some compressed air. Particularly stubborn dust might require a camels-hair brush.

I've taken to it with a blower - it got rid of a few of the worst ones. I'm a bit reluctant to do anything that actually touches the sensor. Perhaps when I'm ready to replace this body I'll give it a go but for now I think I'll stick with the dust.
