Yeah, I dunno that this much technical limitation is doing it for me. Even with the tiniest pinhole I can possibly make there's a lot of blur (actually I should do the maths and work out whether that's diffraction or not). Also, every speck of dust on the sensor is making it's presence felt. Those would be the black spots in the sky, and I could edit them out, but not for this purpose.

Is primarily fun; I'm not sure I'd commit a great deal to it, and still, it is fun.

Dust on the sensor may be fairly easily dealt with, using a bulb-blower to deliver some compressed air. Particularly stubborn dust might require a camels-hair brush.
