A whole lot of people have been telling me that having a general anaesthetic takes quite a long time to recover from. It's been two weeks now, and my concentration span is still way down there - I find I'm reluctant to even fire up a more involved video game at the moment.

Staring out the window, on the other hand, I'm quite capable of. There's something going on on the peninsular to the right, a couple of cranes and some very bright lights have been spotted over the last couple of weeks. I wonder if it's a film set.
