I thought I was going to miss the view from the old place. Nah. This one comes with sound effects.

In other news, I have bought a router and hooked up a wireless network, so I am no longer tethered, bought front and rear lights, a lock, replacement handgrips and a cushy saddle for my bike, so I can exercise and commute at the same time, bought assorted random small kitchen items (a tin opener!) and looked thoughtfully at kitchen cupboards, microwaves and vacuum cleaners. It will be an uncomplicated lifestyle, but a good and comfortable one.
