That's mighty clean looking water, and fairly ok surf... what's the temperature like? [ie, is it swimming trunks, wetsuit...or don't even think about it! temp's?]
Looking at the colo(u)r of the water, I'd guess it's about 10 Celsius. You could dive that in a wetsuit if you kept active while you were down, but a drysuit would keep you warmer.
I don't know for sure. I think it has something to do with the dissolved oxygen content, which gets lower as the temperature goes down. It's something I learned while I was taking dive classes, long ago.
