I have been practising augury - divination via the flight of birds. It works, albeit in a very limited sense - I find I can make some pretty good predictions of where and how the birds will fly next.

In other news, the weather has packed in down at the batch so we've come up to Auckland a day early. Back to Wellington on Wednesday, back to work Thursday, which is nor all bad. I have a Very Large Map to create....
