I think that covers most of the people who read here - I don't think I have any real Russians any more, and I apologise to Gumnut for not being able to find any Aussie currency.
Alas, alak! To be fair, I expect I've still got one of each denomination though I've not seen them recently. More on this in a bit. Also a few bills, though I don't remember how many of those. Nothing large denomination.
Because of a particular quirk of mine, I brought back, above & beyond the 'souvenir' ones mentioned, $12 NZ in $2 coin. The rather unusual amount is what happened to be in my pocket on the day of departure.
When I photograph a model the contract/release form reads 'For $1.00 in hand and other valuable considerations' wording taken directly from the land contract my father signed with my uncle. This is for general modeling. When figure studies are involved, the contract/release reads 'For $2.00 in hand...' The models are always paid with a $2.00 Federal Reserve note as well as the rest of the 'valuable consideration', usually a cheque.
While they lasted, when those models also took part in my 'Healing Art' project to raise awareness about breast cancer, they received both the $2.00 bill and a $2.00 NZ coin. I need to track down some more now, those are all gone their way.
