Remember that list of Chase Jarvis'? I've come up with an idea for #7 - a book. Vanity publication, of course, but that's not so expensive these days. I'm thinking of putting together a collection of everyday physics shots. An attractive picture book, not aimed at kids, pictures like like the caustic curves or thin film interference, explanations - that'll be the hard bit. I'll need about 10 or 15 examples. So far I've got the above two, reflections in a spoon, total internal reflection, frustrated total internal reflection, diffraction, black body radiation. Plenty of time to come up with some more - it's going to take me a while to shoot these ones.
