More acquaintances I should think, at this point.

Right here on LJ, and fairly recently, a few months or so now.

The first half of this one is perhaps the toughest one to answer just now, considering the relative recent beginning of the correspondence. I shall say I look at still-lifes and life-vignettes a bit differently now. As for what you remind me of, purely by accident of birthplace, nationality, residence, and despite that the only part of North Island we saw is Auckland International Airport (hardly representative), you remind me of one of the most awesome, marvelous holidays ever.

At the risk of sounding sappy (and quoting a song I hardly count a favourite) We've only just begun. Not well in any stretch, and better than I did when I started commenting on your photos.
