A flying visit to Christchurch today for an emissions workshop. I got noticed as the ministry's fleet model expert, which wasn't as uncomfortable as I would have expected. Hmmm. I may have a bit of imposter syndrome going on here.
I managed to miss today's southerly front by flying over it.

The straight edge is a stopbank, which is intended to prevent Christchurch being flooded more than once every hundred years or so, IIRC.
