Oriental Bay fountain

So, the weather hasn't been entirely crappy. Most of Sunday was sunny, if cold. I headed off to Oriental Parade, wrapped around Oriental Bay. They're not named after the location, or after any connection to Asia, but after the Oriental, one of the first ships of the New Zealand Company to bring British settlers to the area.

A seagull, rather closer than the fountain. You can see the shadow of it on the building.
