I really enjoyed this Dr Sketchy, Wellington shoot, although I was caught somewhat underprepared - I was not expecting to be asked to photograph this at short notice, and had left home with only my 50mm lens on the camera. That turned out to not be the worst decision ever as I eventually needed all the aperture I could get my hands on, although it did limit my framing possibilities, especially as I was under instructions not to get in the way of any of the patrons.

The light in Mighty Mighty was awesome to start with - late afternoon sun coming through a skylight made everything look like a Rembrandt painting, but slowly got worse as the sun set and typical dim red bar lighting took over. I'm thinking of asking if they'll let me shoot there before they open sometime. Joy wants me to do some portraits for her sometime in the not too distant future...
