Rudder post.














The Hikitia is continually undergoing restoration and conservation by a team of enthusiastic volunteers. The rudder post is showing the results of some 84 years of wear and corrosion. It used to be the same diameter all the way down. it will be restored by having a sleeve fitted around the remaining metal.
