Oil: An Introduction for New Zealanders

This is a surprisingly readable and well referenced little (93 page) document, written for educated non-experts. It covers various aspects of oil including geology, world reserves, economics of non renewable resources, markets and security, and although it sometimes focuses on New Zealand specific issues I'd recommend it to everyone who wants a quick and easy introduction to  the issues surrounding this rather fraught substance.
