I hate this wind

Everybody assures me that this is an atypically extra-windy spring even for this place. I'm thoroughly sick of it. 

I'm sick of the house shaking and banging all night. I have serious difficulty sleeping through it.
I'm sick of feeling trapped inside because the weather is just so - exhausting.
Horizontal rain is not fun.
And my scooter blew over last night breaking two indicators and the throttle, and damaging one panel to the point that I am considering replacing it. (I wasn't on it at the time.)

The sun is out now. it might last for half an hour.
