Portrait of Christchurch as an industrial wasteland

The MOT offices in Christchurch have an excellent view of the back of quite a lot of stuff. Interesting, but not pretty. We can see the Port Hills at least.

In an unrelated comment, Kaimai Grana is a most excellent cheese. A hard, stinky, Italian style cheese, cheaper and I think yummier than imported Parmesan. I'm currently eating it grated over an experimental quinoa risotto (if you can have a risotto that isn't rice). The risotto wasn't a 100% success - next time I'm going to leave the asparagus out, as it tastes somehow too green.
