My first thought was that the fence needs some paint. This was quickly followed by, "How the heck could someone get to it to paint it?" I guess if you took a weed whacker to all that foliage you might have room to stand, but it still would be precarious.
Ah. It wouldn't be at all difficult to paint the fence, or deal to the weeds. Wellington has a bad case of Geography, and this photo is apparently misleading. I'm standing a steep right-of-way and the fence is on a retaining wall. The wall is about hip height where I am and about chest height at the cat, who is hanging out and mugging passers-by for chin-scratches.
